1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My CESR Companion ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

My CESR Companion is a Portfolio Management tool designed to assist doctors in tracking their progress toward Specialist Registration (CESR) in the UK. The Application provides clinical logs, checklists, planning tools, and automated folder structure generation on Google Drive.

3. User Responsibilities

• Professional Integrity: You are responsible for the accuracy and honesty of all clinical logs and evidence entered into the Application.
• Strict Patient Anonymization: You are strictly prohibited from entering any patient-identifying details (e.g., Name, MRN, NHS Number, full DOB). You must use a unique, non-identifying reference system for your own tracking.
• Liability for Data Leakage: Any entry of identifiable patient data is a violation of these terms. You are solely responsible for any patient data leakage resulting from your entries. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Application and its developers from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from such data entry.
• GMC Compliance: It is your responsibility to ensure that all exported data is thoroughly checked and every patient identifier is eradicated before submitting it to the GMC or any other regulatory body.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscription Plans: We offer Free, Gold, and Platinum tiers. Features vary by plan.
• Payments: Payments are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to our payment terms.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Trial Period: New accounts may receive a limited free trial. We reserve the right to modify trial durations.

5. Intellectual Property

The Application, including its design, logos, and code, is the property of Rashid Abuelhassan and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the app for personal professional development.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Application will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Use of the Application does not guarantee a successful CESR application; the final decision rests solely with the GMC.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Rashid Abuelhassan or The Emergentologist Network be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Application, including but not limited to loss of data or professional status.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the Application or email.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
